what information can you gather just by looking at the person? what activitities or clubs is this person in? does the guy have a quirk? nervous twitch? how about a big head and little feet or vice versa. those types of things would be fun. what did he eat in the lunchroom/ what would other students rate what he eats. how does he get to school everyday? if he rides the bus, you could say he is escorted to school everyday by his personal public assistant, assigned directly to him by the school system. maybe these ideas stink, but i think they will get you to thinking of ways to jazz it up and make it fun.

Put your mind into it. Think of what the students and teachers will like, Do more research. This may sound weird but it's a technique that I use, Put yourself into the person you are writing about's place. (:

Use your imagination. Just picture how you would structure the article if you were writing about yourself. Be sure your article about the other person is upbeat, perhaps even inspiring. Headline could be something like 'An American Teen', 'Best In His Class', 'A Success Story', 'A Person Like You', An American Student', 'A Winner Among Us'. etc. There are many resources on the internet.that can guide you far better than Questions. www.info.com is my favorite. Access it, search for things like how to write a article; how to write a theme paper, etc You can type in any phrase and www.info.com will bring up a list of websites.pertaining to your question or statement.
